Wäldchengarten

Black Rabbit

1. Black Rabbit (33:23)

Artwork by Lars L. Hansen

A dark and strangely doom like album by the two brothers in Wäldchengarten - inarguably the most prolific Danish drone act. Originally released on 50 quickly sold out CDR's of poor quality, this net based re-release is a more prevalent testimony to the effort put into this massive guitar fused beast.

Reviews

"Uncompromising escapades from the undisputed national heroes of noise [..] Highly recommended!" 4/6
- Gaffa

Gut!"
- Nonpop

"This release marks the usual high standard of dark ambient soundscapes that we know this band for. A fine dark half hour."
- Vital Weekly

"There's death, hate and paranoia on show. Maybe even an apocalypse. But that doesn't mean Wäldchengarten has devolved into making harsh noise. Instead they draw upon the subtle game of noise, silence, background and foreground, which back then made their debutalbum ...In Preparation of Machines to Fall into such a deep listening experience. [..] Reach your hand out to the evil rodent."
- Geiger

- Distorsom

"This is not the worst release so far on this label."
- 8K Mob Records (from the original 2007 press release)
